另一個版本的中秋民間故事 An Alternate Version of the Mid Autumn Story

傳說嫦娥是后羿的嬌妻，
為了不讓后羿那心術不正的徒弟蓬蒙危害蒼生，
她就把長生不老仙丹整顆吞了。
輕飄飄的身子隨風飄蕩，
在飄過月球時，
嫦娥的衣服被吳剛的月桂樹樹枝鉤到，
最後停留在月球上。

吳剛被漂亮的嫦娥深深吸引，
嫦娥為了報答吳剛讓她免受漂流之苦，
所以答應吳剛請她留在月球的請求。
可是嫦娥的身子實在是太輕了，
只要輕輕一吹就會飄起來。
所以他拜託他的鄰居－玉兔，
幫忙製作讓她身子變重的藥。

可是嫦娥因為之前吞了一整顆仙丹，
從此對顆粒狀的藥有了很大的陰影，
怎樣也沒辦法吃玉兔製作的藥。
玉兔和助手們－蟾蜍和花蛇經過一輪商討後，
決定做成食物讓嫦娥在不知情的情況下把藥吃下。

第二年的八月十五，
終於製作出好看又好吃的“藥”。
玉兔說為了慶祝成功研製新藥的，
要在這天辦慶祝會！
當然，嫦娥並不知道這是藥。
嫦娥看著又大又圓，貌似餅的藥，
就給它取了一個很好聽的名字－月餅。
嫦娥吃過月餅後果真不再漂了。

藥效為期一年，
所以每年的這一天，
嫦娥都要按時服藥。

she swallowed the Pill of Longevity.

After that, her body became so light that she floated away with the wind.
When she floated past Moon,
her clothes were hooked on the branch of a laurel tree,
and she stayed on the planet.
Wu Gang was deeply attracted by the beautiful Chang Er.
She was grateful to him for saving her, so she promised to stay.

There was a problem, though.
Chang Er was so light that a gentle breeze could blow her away.
So, Wu Gang asked for help from the Rabbit to invent a medicine that could make her body become heavy.
However, she now had a phobia of taking pills,
and they could not make her swallow the medicine.
The Rabbit discussed the matter with her assistants,
the Toad, and the Snake, and they came up with a plan.

On August 15 of the next year,
a 'medicine' which looks nice and tastes nice was finally invented.
A celebration party was thrown.
Of course, Chang Er didn't know a thing.
The medicine she ate was big and round and looked like a biscuit,
so she even gave it a wonderful name - moon cake.
After eating the moon cake, she stopped floating.
However, the effect only lasts for a year.
Therefore, every year on this day,
Chang Er needs to take her medicine.
